The Media Technology and Publishing Center (MTPC) at HKUST is delighted to present "Imagination in Motion – Hong Kong Animation Screening and Post-screening Talk" on this summer night. This special event will feature a curated selection of award-winning local original animations from the "Animation Support Program" and will also include a post-screening sharing session with local animators.

節目簡介
入圍金馬獎最佳動畫短片，以細碎嘅筆觸帶領動畫遊走於虛幻與現實之間，治療破碎嘅心靈。
“Depths of Night”- A story of how to face fear. Depths of night will eventually pass.
魚缸裡嘅金魚，一口口渴望自由呼吸嘅掙扎，帶黎一場不一樣嘅夏天風暴。
“Monsoon Blue” - The dream of a goldfish to return into its wild form uproars her long-forgotten memories, and a self-conscious monsoon is about to be uninhibited.
無懼處處受限嘅狹小環境，依然保留對天空傲翔嘅想像，細味本土情懷。
“THE SQUARE CITY” - A cramped environment with all kinds of restrictions shapes Hong Kong into a square city. Perhaps life is impoverished, and oppressive, and the actuality is difficult to change. Yet, Bong hasn't lost his imagination of birds soaring high in the sky, and has still retained his longing for wonderful things.

“Uncle Babysitter2” - After a row over a TV remote control, Uncle Tung accidentally kills his nephew…?!
細膩嘅3D動畫、動人嘅鋼琴音樂，帶你從工地走進異世界，體驗奇幻旅程。
“co cotton” - Seeing a strange picture from the falling cotton seed, the protagonist CoCo went to the small village in search of the truth. The place where she used to play has become a construction site and only a big bare tree is left. What happened to CoCo at there in the end?'
鬼馬嘅地板精靈到底點樣折磨人類，掀開未知生物之謎。
“Floor-Elf” – It must be the Floor Elves if you lost something in your house! This animation is created with stop-motion, telling the secret story of the Floor Elves.

A post-screening talk with members of the creative team will be hosted, conducted in Cantonese.
早於1970 年代開始獨立動畫及短片創作，獲奬無數, 並已被收藏於香港電影資料館及M+博物館。近年主力推動香港動畫文化創意產業及策劃動漫展覽，現任「香港動畫業及文化協會秘書長」、「ifva動畫組評審」以及「香港動畫支援計劃」策劃兼評審。
Donald is a HK based advertising director with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media (Film and Animation). In 2016, He set up his own studio and has collaborated with various brands like Qantas, Nike, Estee Lauder, Shiseido, Clé de Peau, Coca-cola, Disney, etc.
